who doesn't love online shopping?

Heyyyyyy everybody,

I recently found the coolest website ever and I've been dying to share it with someone.

http://society6.com/

It's full of unique, artsy designed stuff like clothes, art prints, laptop skins, etc. But my favorite are the iPhone cases (I don't even have an iPhone...)

Really though, they are the coolest things ever and I'd be embarrassed to tell you how much time I've spent looking at them. Not kidding .. Haha, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Have an awesome and relaxing weekend --
Katie

One of my favorite OSU traditions...

The Long Walk is probably the most romantic legend we have on campus.  The story goes that when Commencement was still held on the Oval, then-current president William Oxley Thompson, who was also an ordained minister, told the graduating seniors that if they wanted to tie the knot, he would marry them in front of the library after graduation.  Makes sense right?  Why not get married with all of your friends and family already in attendance?

Today, the Long Walk has evolved into one long, complicated, and seemingly impossible task.  It is said that if you can walk from the seal at the east end of the brick path to the statue of Thompson while holding hands with your beloved, while the bells of Orton Hall toll and no one crosses your path, you two will be together forever.

As a hopeless romantic, I thought I would share this with you.

Boricua Life: You Lincolnian can go to Puerto Rico in a few months!

Due to the overwhelming interest in the upcoming Puerto Rico Experience, and to create a more student-friendly process, the payment requirements for the trip have changed.

§  All applications to participate in the experience are still due by Wednesday, September 26, 2012.

§  The final decisions for who is invited to participate in the experience will be made by October 3, 2012.

§  Those selected will have until October 15, 2012 to submit their payment of $425 for on-campus students, or $650.00 for off-campus students.

§  UNLESS YOU ARE NOTIFIED, you do not have to pay anything until October 15, 2012.

§  Questions or concerns about this change should be directed to Julius Mayo at mayo.2@osu.edu

Hey, special shout out to the 1840's for their "Chick Flick Saturdays" and for "ROH" on Sundays.  I look forward to these nights every week!! Keep up the good work.

Drop it like it's hot!

Hey everyone!

So are you taking that class that's stressing you out? The GEC you thought would be easy, but it turns out it's too hard? Something you could take later with a lighter class load?

You can still drop classes without it going on your record!
http://ascadvising.osu.edu/scheduling/classes/drop!

Keep in mind you'll want to make sure you're still a full time student after you drop for the purposes of scholarships and other things. You're always welcome to see an adviser if you have any questions.

But remember, you can still drop without a "W" until THIS FRIDAY!

WOO!
~Patrick
